Pursuit of Happyness : உண்மை தழுவிய கதை. அதாவது True story என்பார்கள். Hollywood'ன் success formula இது. Will Smith தயாரித்தது மற்றும் நடித்தது. அமெரிக்காவில் எல்லாரும் பணக்காரன், ஏழையே கிடையாது.. என்று நினைப்பவர்கள் அனைவரும் பார்க்க வேண்டிய படம். நமக்கு பழகிய இந்திய மத்தியதர வாழ்க்கை. ஆனால் கதை நடப்பது San Francisco. அவ்வளவே தான் வித்தியாசம். சராசரி சினிமா ரசிகனுக்கு தெரிந்த Hollywood படங்களில் இருந்து இது பல காணி தூரம் தள்ளியே இருக்கிறது. பல தரப்பில் ரசிக்கபட்ட ஒரு படம் இது.
Will Smith ன் மிக அற்புதமான நடிப்பு.. Sales Calls க்காக ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் ஒடும் போது பார்ப்பவர் நமக்கே மூச்சு இறைக்கும். அவர் மகனான சிறுவன் கேள்விகளை கேட்கும் போதெல்லாம் பொறுமையாக பதில் சொல்வது கவிதை.
குறிப்பாக இரவு தங்க இடமெல்லாமல் கழிவறையில் தங்கும் காட்சிகள் கண்களை குளமாக்கும்..

Dear friend this film is a master piece of wil smith,his acting and attitude was adorable,
especially those taxi meter cutting scene and chasing the bum in centre of the road and hit by car,in that accident he looose his shoe,and he return to office with one shoe,
especially when he start paint his house,police knock the door for car parking penalty case,he spent whole night in the police stn,and rush to the interview with the paint stains and a dirty jerkin,my god he won the interview with his attitude,this is worth watching,no one should miss this movie,
